The "System Science" discipline of Qingdao University is a key discipline of Shandong Province. It has been continuously rated as a key discipline of Shandong Province during the 11th and 12th Five-Year Plan. System science teaching and scientific research platform and rich software and hardware resources, with a laboratory area of nearly 400 square meters, with more than 300 computer equipment such as IBM servers, deep learning mobile workstations, supercomputer workstations, humanoid and wheeled robots, and Makeblock experimental construction Platforms and other scientific research equipment. There are system science robot design laboratory, system science deep machine learning laboratory, system science system simulation laboratory, etc.


Training objectives


Master the basic theories and methods of system science, understand the basic concepts, theories, methods and tools of complex systems, be familiar with the development direction of the subject and the frontiers of international academic research, and be able to use mathematics, computers and other means to control the structure, nature and evolution of the system Explore, or carry out applied research in a certain field. Initially have the ability to independently engage in scientific research and teaching of system science and its applications, have good academic communication skills, and adapt to different positions with innovative and compound talents. Nearly 136 master students and more than 60 doctoral students have been trained in the disciplines of system science. The exploration and practice in postgraduate training in the past 20 years has enabled us to form a teaching system with characteristics and advantages as well as a teaching team with combat effectiveness. 3 outstanding doctoral dissertations, 2 first prizes for outstanding scientific and technological innovation achievements of Shandong graduate students, and many other awards.
