Recently, the domestic Global Scholars Bank website announced the "Top 100,000 Scientists Ranking in the World". A total of 11,642 people in China were shortlisted, second only to the United States (38,449). Among them, there are 682 experts ranked within 10,000 in the world. Professor Hou Zhongsheng of our school was shortlisted.
The scientists listed this time are based on the comprehensive consideration of the scholars' scientific research output, Google Scholar Metrics journal score, H index, citations of the results, and the ranking position of the authors in the results. A high average score indicates that scholars are more inclined to publish in high-quality journals, and the comprehensive score considers the output of scholars more. After the list is released, researchers can continue to track the progress and research frontiers of certain disciplines by paying attention to top figures in certain disciplines.
